EPA Raises Glyphosate Concentrations on Food Crops

readers 0f our blog (no comments?) will see that peer reviewed journals are almost daily publishing some horrible new finding on glyphosate. readers will often note that we reference the revolving door policy of the EPA and Monsanto and other corporations Monsanto EPA revolving Door
so its not surprising the  EPA Raises Glyphosate Concentrations on Food Crops. after Fukishima they response was simply to raise the acceptable levels of radiation.
They are raising the levels of glyphosate as weeds are developing a resistance requiring more and more sprayings. The same crops are grown in the same soils, or similar glyphosate ready abominations, and sprayed and sprayed until concentrations rise beyond the previous acceptable level. its is like a drug fiend or alcoholic needing to take more and more of their substance because they  have developed a tolerance.

"Last week the EPA let Monsanto raise the allowable concentrations of glyphosate on food crops, animal feed, and edible oils. The new regulation lets farmers use more of the chemical, which is the active ingredient in the herbicide Roundup.
Under the new regulation, forage and hay teff can contain up to 100 ppm (100,000 ppb) glyphosate; oilseed crops can contain up to 40 ppm (40,000 ppb) glyphosate, and root crops such as potatoes and beets can contain 6000 ppb glyphosate. Fruits can have concentrations from 200 ppb to 500 ppb glyphosate. These numbers are magnitudes higher than the levels some scientists believe are carcinogenic" From Food Poisoning Bulletin
